Loved the Greek Islands!

I just got back from the 7-night Idyllic Aegean cruise and it was absolutely wonderful. The islands were breathtaking, and the whole experience was so relaxing. I can't wait to book another trip with them, maybe a 7-night Steps of Paul cruise next! I've already told my friends they need to check out Celestyal.

Good short cruise

I booked a 3-night Iconic Aegean cruise for a quick getaway. The price was pretty good with an early booking discount, which made it a nice deal. I also added a specialty dining package, which was a good call, the food there was really tasty. Check-in felt a bit slow, but once we were on board it was fine. The ports were lovely, and it was a chill way to see some new places. Might do it again if I need another short break.

Dependable Mediterranean cruise

This was my third time sailing with Celestyal, and they consistently deliver. We did the 4-night Iconic Aegean cruise this time, and just like our previous 7-night Three Continents trip, everything went smoothly. The all-inclusive upgrade offers are always a good value, and the service onboard is reliably excellent. I appreciate knowing what to expect, and they always meet those expectations. Booking was easy, and the transfers from the airport were well-organized.

Thinking about booking a Celestyal cruise, are the 'all-inclusive' packages actually all-inclusive or are there a bunch of hidden fees?

K Kevin 2 months ago
It's pretty good for a cruise! Most drinks, tips, and some excursions are covered. I think some specialty stuff like certain cocktails or fancy dinners might be extra, but for the most part, yeah.

Yeah, it's not like *everything* but it's a solid deal. Way less nickel-and-diming than some other lines I've been on. Like, you won't pay extra for a basic soda or house wine.

do they ever do like, coupon codes? or is it all just automatic discounts on the site?

E Elena 2 months ago
Almost all automatic discounts. I've only ever seen codes through like, travel agents or special email lists if you're a loyalty member or something. Don't expect to find a random one online.

Pretty much what the other person said. It's mostly the 'deal of the week' type stuff already applied, not something you punch in at checkout.

Wondering about the shore excursions. Are they included or do you have to pay extra for them on a Celestyal cruise?

W Wendy H. 2 months ago
Some are included with the all-inclusive package, but there are always optional ones you can pay extra for if you want something different or more in-depth. It's a mix.

They usually have a 'classic' excursion included in each port, which is pretty cool. But if you want something specific, like a cooking class or a private tour, those are extra cost.

What's their cancellation policy like? Thinking of booking for next year but life happens, ya know?

M Mark C. 1 month ago
You usually have some flexibility early on, but as you get closer to the sail date, it gets stricter. I'd check the exact terms for your booking, it can vary a bit.

I had to cancel once. Got most of my money back because I did it far enough out. Definitely read the fine print when you book, don't just skim it.

I'm looking at a Greek Isles trip for next spring. How reliable are their early booking discounts? Worth waiting to see if prices drop closer to date?

D Daisy S. 1 month ago
I've always found early booking to be the best for them. You get a better choice of cabins too. Last minute deals pop up, but usually for specific dates that might not work.

Nah, don't wait. Wave Season (Jan-Mar) is usually when they push the best deals. After that, it's mostly about clearing out remaining inventory, so you might not get the itinerary you want.
